Car Audio Cables Information

You got all what you need to have great sound in your car. Now, it’s time to make sure that you are wiring all of these components correctly. Many car owners don’t give much attention to how they wire their car audio components. Below are some simple steps to help you install your wiring to make it look nice and unseen.

1) Before you start to run your wires, you need to know what components you are going to install. Even if you don’t have all the needed components at the moment, it’s recommended to know what you are trying to wire. By doing this, you will save time and money.

2) Get the necessary wires needed. Make sure to extra just in case you need more.

3) To make your wiring installation easier, disassemble your car in the places where you plan to run the wires/cables.

4) If you are planning to use sound damping materials, this is the perfect time to use it. Sound damping materials will improve sound performance because they prevent road noise and vibrations.

5) Run your wires (RCA wires, speaker wires and so on).

6) Secure your wires by using ties. Using ties will help in keeping your wires/cables controlled and arranged which prevent short circuits and future problems to your audio components.

Make sure to buy the right wire gauge. Don’t be cheap when it comes to power cables and speaker wires. Having the right wires will complete your audio installations and you will feel the difference in sound quality.

INFO: depending on the wattage of your soldering iron depends on how long you will have to hold the tip on the conection before the solder melts, for exsample a 10 to 20 watt soldering iron will take longer than say a 25 to 40 watt soldering iron. it doesent really matter weather you use lead or lead free solder but bear in mind that lead free has a higher tin content than leaded solder and contains more flux so its harder to melt also leaded solder is soter but lead free solder is more brittle than lede solder. WARNIGS: make shure you unplug the turntable before unscrewing or opening. be careful not to breake any of the thin wires from the tone arm as they are a very delicate. Never turn the turntable upside down without any type of cushion under underneath it you could damage the tone arm, and be careful if youre using the turntable dust cover to support the turntable whilst its upside down the plastic they are made from is very brittle.

I'll show you how to setup your turtle beach x3 headset to your 360 even tho your useing the hdmi port and not the AV Cables. Quick tips: look in your manual or online to the back placement of your tv if you can't find the Auido Out (i had to do the same cause i couldn't see behide my tv well its on the wall.) The Audio Cable can be sold almost any store ive seen them at dollar stores, wal-mart and best buy. my is a cheap one, no need to spend $25 when a $5 cord does fine for audio. Step by Step Guide. 1. Plug eveything in for your headset (not the audio cords (red and white cords)) 2. Make sure your TV Has a Audio out port. 3. Buy or Find a 2-Way Audio cord. (White and Red on both Ends (The Ends are MALE not FEMALE (meaning that the end has a tip, thats a male and a female is where you up the tip into)) 4. Plug the White and Red Audio cord into your Audio Out port on your TV. 5. What your doing is taking the audio from your TV and placing it somewhere else (the headset) 6. Take the other end of the audio cord and plug that into your turtle beach FEMALE audio port (THE White and Red audio plug) 7. Your done. 8. You still should have your turtle beach Audio MALE Ports free for use (as they are not going into anything) 9. Now you have your turtle beach set up well your 360 is using the HDMI port 10. icelegit Rate 5 Stars.
